The state pediatric societies are organizations independent from the chapter with their own by-laws and dues structures.  However, the chapter has a long-standing relationship with these societies – we share a membership base and also partner to mobilize and educate pediatricians in certain geographic areas.  The chapter reserves spots on its Board of Directors for representatives from each of the active pediatric societies.
