EMERGING  CHAPTER  ACTIVITIES

Some of the new activities emerging in the chapter include:

Autism Consensus Report:  A group of volunteer chapter members are collaborating to create this document.  The group includes parents, general pediatricians, developmental pediatricians, neurologists, psychologists, etc.  Major health plans are awaiting the report as they comply with Steven's Law. 

Chapter Website:  Members are still working to re-design the chapter website and utilize it to provide resources to the community and to our membership. 

Quality Improvement Efforts:  Members are working to initiate chapter-wide QI efforts via the Chapter's Best Care for Kids Program.  We are also exploring how to aid in Part IV of MOC.

Committees/ Working Groups:  Initiate committees for Residents and Young Physicians, members interested in Mental Health, Asthma, Oral Health and more
