Emerging Chapter Activities

Current chapter members are given the benefit of participating in active chapter committees.  Committees are made up of volunteer members with similar pediatric interests who collaborate in an effort to create change.  Committee members agree to participate in meetings and discussions, and to fulfill certain roles important in achieving the group's goal.  Expert guests are also invited to participate in committees to provide clarifying information and to inform the chapter of similar efforts going on statewide to avoid duplication.  Committees regularly report to the Board of Directors and also make recommendations to the Board relevant to their area of pediatric interest.
